Regina Darby Demas, APRN, CPNP (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner)

Regina Darby Demas is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist who has been in the nursing profession for nearly 30 years. Her experience includes working with children of various age groups in diverse settings including acute care, intensive care, emergency care, nursing academia, nursing education, nursing research and as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked at Charity Hospital and Children's Hospital in New Orleans and in local pediatricians' offices. Regina earned an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Continuing her education she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Dillard University in New Orleans and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She received Post-Master Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Regina has always enjoyed working with and caring for children and their families. She believes that all patients and parents to be treated with dignity and respect and that patients and parents take an active role in their healthcare.
Regina and her husband, Sheldon, have two children.
