Jeanne Bienvenu Dakin is a Pediatric Primary Care and Acute Certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1993. She worked Acute Care Pediatrics at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge up until 1999. At that time she decided to move home to Slidell and pursue a master’s degree at University of South Alabama in Mobile. During her clinicals to become a pediatric nurse practitioner, she spent many hours interning at Children’s International.
She has worked at Ochsner Medical Center -North Shore in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit since 1999. In December 2000 she graduated from South Alabama with a MSN and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree. Since that time she has worked full time at Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore as an advanced acute care practitioner. Jeanne is married with twin stepsons.
