Dr. Janani K.G. Narumanchi is a Board Certified Pediatrician who was born in India. She excelled in her Bachelor's, Master's and completed her M.Phil with honors in the field of Analytical Chemistry. She attended medical school at Universidad Ibero Americana in the Dominican Republic where she was awarded academic recognitions and graduated with distinction in 1999. Dr Narumanchi did her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Bronx- Lebanon Hospital affiliated with the renowned Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. She was voted "Most Likeable Resident".
In 2004 Dr. Narumanchi and her husband, Dr TC. Narumanchi, a Faculty member of Tulane University School of Medicine- Genetics Department, relocated to New Orleans. They fell in love with the south and made Mandeville their home town. In June 2006, Dr Narumanchi joined Children’s International Medical Group as a Pediatric Hospitalist providing in-patient services at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Slidell Memorial Hospital, and Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore. In June 2009, Dr. Narumanchi became the Medical Director for The Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Children's International until the birth of her son. She now practices as a General Pediatrician in the Hammond and Lacombe offices.
