



Dr. Cornel Jeansonne is a Board Certified Pediatrician. He graduated from LSU with a major in Zoology and then attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans. He graduated from medical school in 1977 and did his residency in Pediatrics through LSU at Charity Hospital in New Orleans . After his residency he served in the U.S. Air Force for 3 years as a pediatrician at Loring Air Force Base in northern Maine with the rank of Major. After leaving the Air Force, he established a general pediatrics practice in Chalmette. He practiced in Chalmette for 21 years until Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina, he joined Children's International Medical Group as the group’s general pediatrician. He enjoys taking care of children of all ages from birth to young adulthood, and takes special pleasure in watching his patients grow.
