Christina Sonnier Guarino is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Mandeville, LA. She attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1997. In pursuit of higher education, she later attended the University of South Alabama where she achieved her Master's Degree in Nursing and became a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. During graduate school she was inducted into the National Honor Society for Nursing Excellence, Sigma Theta Tau International. She has vast work experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Newborn Nurseries, General PEdiatrics, care of children with special needs, post-delivery care of mothers, and is a breast feeding educator. Her career has focused on the care of children and their families, particularly the specialized health care needs of premature infants through childhood. Christina joined Children's International Medical Group in October of 2010. In february 2011 she accepted the practitioner position at the Franklinton clinic to expand quality healthcare to the community of Franklinton and surrounding areas.

Christina has been married to her husband Michael for nine years. They have three beautiful daughters, a fish, a hamster, and a cat.
